Become a Member

Who Are We?

We are a volunteer-driven non-profit organization that:
  • Raises funds through the book sales and memberships to enhance the library environment and its programs
  • Buys equipment for the library and contributes financially for some of its activities
  • Contributes to the summer reading club
  • Publishes a quarterly newsletter
  • Sponsors authors' visit to local schools
  • Host an annual book sale

Our Activities

  • We collect used books donations from Beaconsfield citizens (please contact us  ([email protected]) if you wish to make a donation)
  • We organize the yearly used book sale in September and October (the dates are announced in the Contact magazine and on the city's electronic boards)
  • We are present at some of the city's events (e.g. the Artisans' Fair, the Grand Marche, etc.)
  • We are a member of FOCAL, an organization of Friends of Canadian Libraries
  • We publish a quarterly newsletter for our members
  • We provide financial support the Library for activities, authors' visits or equipment
  • We maintain the Little Free Libraries
