Schedule: October 19, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, for members of the Friends only, coffee and tea will be served. October 20 and 21, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, everyone is welcome. Bring your re-usable bags! Donations accepted in September and October! Book collection dates: Saturday, September 15, from noon to 4 pm Saturday, October 13, from noon to 4 pm Sunday, October 14, from 1 pm to 4 pm Please note that we have limited space so please only bring books in good condition. Please do not bring encyclopedias, magazines, damaged or moldy books, VHS tapes, records, or cassette tapes. Every Tuesday at 6:30 pm in the Library Tuesday, June 26th, Back to the Future This summer the Beaconsfield library will be in the Beacon Hill Park every Friday at 2pm (weather permitting) for a free, bilingual drop-in story time for the whole family. Listen to some picture book stories, sing songs, and learn fun rhymes relating to the theme of the week. The themes are: food, science, animals, nature, hobbies, reading, and art.
Storytime in Beacon Hill park will take place from June 29th until August 10th, 2pm-2:30pm. TO CELEBRATE the beginning of this weekly storytime (and summer!) the Beacon Hill Community Association is teaming up with the Beaconsfield Friends of the Library to hold a launch PARTY! Come join us at 12:30pm in the park and please bring your own picnic and blanket. The Friends of the Library will be offering FREE face painting and the Beacon Hill Community Association will offer FREE frozen treats. Face painting will end just before storytime commences at 2pm. Welcome to children of all ages as well as parents, grandparents and babysitters. See you then! (In case of rain the event will be postponed to the 6th of July).
